Afrolanka Has a New Look!

Ayubowan!

Welcome back to our blog!
With new exciting news...
This week we managed to Launch our new look!
Yes! Afrolanka finally has a new look.
Our Designer @Nasra.n.ali was incharge of our re- branding and she is far the best I have ever worked with.

She was keen enough to listen and understand what vision and idea I had, plus she had fun with it in the process -which made her creativity shine even more!

As you all know, Afrolanka is a hand made product (with so much love and care), this is precisely why I wanted our logo hand written too; so that it could reflect that special essence .
So Yes! Our logo was written  by hand!
Since I relate much to Ayurveda and boho style, I wanted the look to be bohemian, hence the Bohemian fonts.
Most of the Afrolanka Family relate a lot to the 'pink' color from our prior logo,i decided to keep a little bit of the pink as well in the new look, hence the pink dots.(I just love how she incorporated them!)
Finally for the imagery, we decided to really minimize and just have the two leaves symbolizing our oneness with Nature and herbs.
It will take some getting used to, of coarse, but am already warming up to it and its already growing on me with each  day.
As promised, I will be keeping these blogs short and precise. So let me get the move on!
Thank you for stepping by!
See you on our next Blog!

AYUBOWAN ! A Sri Lankan way of greeting, which means 'wishing you a long life' The name Afrolanka ties Africa and Sri Lanka, two different worlds that make up most of me. I was born and raised in Kenya but got the luck to have lived seven years in the pearl of Indian ocean - Sri Lanka. This is where I was first introduced to  AYURVEDA . To Sri Lankans this is their lifestyle. Their daily day-to-day life rotates mainly around Ayurveda, Meditation the  Dharma  (Teachings of their Lord Buddha). I have experienced Ayurveda in its habitat and when it was time for me to go back home, I took that piece ...
